Emperor Palpatine has announced open elections for a new Emperor — and he’s nominated Darth Vader. You get to nominate one challenger.
If I could nominate one challenger to run against Darth Vader, I would choose Anakin Skywalker—the Jedi Knight he was before falling to the dark side.
Anakin was not only a powerful Jedi but also a courageous leader and mentor. During the Clone Wars, he guided and trained his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, helping her grow into one of the galaxy’s most respected warriors. Despite his flaws, Anakin genuinely cared about those around him and always fought to protect others.
What makes Anakin such an interesting choice is that he represents both the light and dark sides of the Force. An election between Anakin and Darth Vader would symbolize a choice between hope and fear, compassion and control.
I would vote for the Anakin who inspired others, stood by his friends, and believed in protecting the people of the galaxy. After all, true leadership is about serving others, not ruling through fear.
