What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?
I usually prefer meditation, reading holy books, spend time with my family…😅.
It’s important that we ourselves should try to remove negativity from our mind be always positive, but I know there are instance in everyone life were it’s not possible, in such case only think about the good things happened in your life and some meditation I guess will work….everyone has their opinion. If I am not wrong…😅
I lose myself in writing blogs , preparing vlogs, reading….spending time doing some kind of art works, travelling i guess we all use to…😅 and many…more to say…
Do epigenetic changes cause type 2 diabetes, or do the changes occur only after a person has become ill? A new study provides increased support for the idea that epigenetic changes can cause type 2 diabetes.
What is epigenetics?
Epigenetics Mechanism
Epigenetics is like the conductor of a genetic orchestra 🎻, influencing which genes are played (expressed) and when, without changing the musical notes (DNA sequence) themselves 🎶. It’s like a molecular maestro orchestrating gene expression in response to environmental cues 🌱, lifestyle choices 🏃♂️, and developmental stages 🧬. Epigenetic modifications, such as DNA methylation, histone modifications, and non-coding RNA regulation, act like tiny molecular switches 🧬, turning genes on and off as needed, all without altering the fundamental DNA sequence!
Epigenetics and Type 2 Diabetes.
Type 2 Diabetes
Discovery of Epigenetic Changes:
Researchers at Lund University have discovered that certain changes in how our genes work, called epigenetic changes, might actually cause type 2 diabetes, rather than just happening after someone already has the condition (Rönn et al., 2023).
Implications for Disease Prevention:
This finding suggests that understanding these changes could help us develop better ways to prevent the disease.
Role of Environment and Lifestyle:
While our genes themselves don’t usually change, things like our environment and lifestyle can cause these epigenetic changes, which can affect how our genes function. 🧬
Association with High Blood Sugar Levels:
The team found specific changes in the DNA of people with type 2 diabetes compared to those without it. Interestingly, they also found similar changes in people with high blood sugar levels, suggesting that these epigenetic changes might be involved in the development of the disease.
Identification of Important Genes:
RHOT1 genes
RHOT1, also known as Rho-related BTB domain-containing protein 1, is a gene that encodes a protein involved in cellular processes such as mitochondrial dynamics, apoptosis, and cell proliferation. It belongs to the Rho family of small GTPases and plays a role in regulating mitochondrial fusion and fission
Certain genes, such as RHOT1 ( Fig. BTB domain 1) , showed these epigenetic changes in people with diabetes and played a role in how insulin is produced.
Potential for Predictive Biomarkers:
Biomarkers
What are Biomarkers?
Biomarkers are measurable indicators, such as molecules or genes, providing information about biological processes, conditions, or treatment responses, aiding in medical research, diagnosis, and disease monitoring.
Examples of Biomarkers:
Blood Glucose Levels:
Glucose is a biomarker for diabetes. High levels might indicate diabetes or insulin resistance.
The researchers hope to develop a way to predict who might be at risk for developing type 2 diabetes based on their epigenetic changes. This could allow for personalized lifestyle advice or new treatments aimed at correcting these gene activities.
Ultimate Goal of Disease Prevention:
Ultimately, the goal is to help prevent type 2 diabetes by understanding and targeting these epigenetic changes. 💡These highlighted points summarize the key findings and implications of the study.

Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?
According to my point of view we can’t Compare ourselves with animals because we are human being we can do things which sometimes they can’t, like talk, our intelligence and many more one can relate..
If we go through science evolution theory then it’s mentioned that we are evolution of apes i.e Homosapiens . According to Darwins theory of evolution it’s mentioned how we changed from apes to humans how different parts were lost like tails and all…
Overall what i think is we are humans not animals….God has created everyone unique with talents and skills😃😃….Hope I am right🙂
Hey there! Ever wondered why humans don’t have tails like monkeys? Well, researchers at NYU Grossman School of Medicine may have figured it out! They found that a genetic change in our ancient ancestors might be the reason behind it. This discovery, published as the cover story in the journal Nature, compared the DNA of tail-less apes and humans with that of tailed monkeys. They discovered a DNA insertion shared by apes and humans but missing in monkeys.
To dive deeper into this, the research team engineered mice to see how this insertion, found in a gene called TBXT, affected their tails. Surprisingly, they found a variety of tail effects, even some mice born without tails! Dr. Bo Xia, one of the study authors, expressed excitement about unraveling this evolutionary mystery that has intrigued him since childhood.
Previous research had linked over 100 genes to tail development in various vertebrates, leading the authors to hypothesize that changes in these genes’ DNA code played a role in tail loss. However, they were astonished to find that the differences in tails didn’t stem from mutations in TBXT, but rather from the insertion of a DNA snippet called AluY into the gene’s regulatory code in the ancestors of apes and humans.
This discovery sheds light on how genetic instructions are converted into proteins and how alternative splicing can influence traits like tail length. Despite not directly altering the protein-coding sequence, this insertion influenced alternative splicing, resulting in various tail lengths.
The researchers speculate that this genetic change, which occurred about 25 million years ago, might have provided an advantage for life on the ground compared to trees. However, it’s also associated with a small increase in neural tube defects in mice, hinting at a possible evolutionary trade-off.
In addition to providing insights into our evolutionary history, this study showcases the intricate complexity of the human genome and the role of “jumping genes” in shaping our traits. It’s a fascinating glimpse into how tiny genetic changes can have profound effects on species over millions of years.
The study, led by Drs. Bo Xia, Jef D. Boeke, and Itai Yanai, involved a collaborative effort from several researchers at NYU Langone Health and was supported by various grants and funding sources.

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.”
– Elbert Hubbard
Once upon a time, in the mystical realm of Eldoria, nestled between towering mountains and lush forests, there lay a hidden realm known as the Crystal Caverns. 🌟 Deep within these caverns, where the glow of luminescent crystals illuminated the pathways, lived a community of magical beings known as the Crystallites. 🧚♂️🔮
In the heart of the Crystal Caverns stood a magnificent palace carved from the very rock of the cavern walls. Within its grand halls, the Crystallite Queen, Seraphina, ruled with wisdom and grace, alongside her trusted advisors and guardians. 👑✨
One fateful day, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting shadows across the land, a young adventurer named Finn stumbled upon the entrance to the Crystal Caverns. Drawn by tales of its beauty and mystery, Finn cautiously stepped into the darkness, his heart pounding with excitement. 🌄💖
Finn: (whispering to himself) This place is incredible! 🤩
As he ventured deeper into the caverns, Finn marveled at the shimmering crystals that adorned the walls, their colors dancing in the dim light. 💎🌈
Finn: (calling out) Is anyone here? 👀
His voice echoed through the caverns, but there was no reply. Undeterred, Finn pressed on, his curiosity driving him forward. 🚶♂️💨
Meanwhile, in the throne room of the palace, Queen Seraphina and her advisors were gathered in solemn discussion. 👑💬
Advisor 1: Your Majesty, the balance of magic within the caverns has been disturbed. We must investigate immediately. 🧙♂️🔍
Seraphina: (concerned) What could have caused such a disruption? 😟
Advisor 2: There have been reports of intruders entering the caverns. We fear they may seek to exploit our magic for their own gain. 🚷💥
Seraphina: (determined) Then we must act swiftly to protect our home. Prepare a search party at once. 🛡️🔦
Back in the depths of the caverns, Finn found himself face to face with a group of curious Crystallites, their eyes wide with wonder at the sight of an outsider in their midst. 👀🔮
Crystallite 1: Who are you, human? And what brings you to our realm? 🧚♀️🌌
Finn: (bowing respectfully) My name is Finn, and I come in search of adventure. I mean no harm to your people. 🤝🌟
Crystallite 2: (skeptical) How can we trust you? Humans have always brought trouble to our realm. 😒🌑
Finn: I understand your concerns, but I assure you, I only seek to explore and learn from your fascinating culture. 🌍📚
The Crystallites exchanged hesitant glances before nodding in agreement. They led Finn deeper into the caverns, eager to show him the wonders of their world. 🤝💫
As they journeyed through the twisting tunnels, Finn and the Crystallites encountered all manner of magical creatures, from glowing insects to graceful water nymphs. Each encounter filled Finn with a sense of awe and wonder, fueling his desire to uncover the secrets of the Crystal Caverns. 🦋🌊
However, unbeknownst to them, a sinister presence lurked in the shadows, watching their every move with malicious intent. 👀👹
Deep within the darkest recesses of the caverns, a wicked sorcerer named Malachi plotted to harness the power of the crystals for his own nefarious purposes. 🧙♂️💎
Malachi: (laughing darkly) Soon, the magic of the Crystal Caverns will be mine to command. And no one will stand in my way. 😈💥
With a wave of his staff, Malachi summoned forth a horde of shadowy creatures, ready to do his bidding. 🖤🔮
Meanwhile, Queen Seraphina and her search party ventured deeper into the caverns, determined to uncover the source of the disturbance. 👑🕵️♀️
Seraphina: (surveying their surroundings) Keep your wits about you, my friends. We do not know what dangers lurk in these depths. 🚷🔦
Suddenly, they were set upon by Malachi’s minions, their dark forms swirling around them like a malevolent storm. ⚔️🌪️
Guardian 1: (brandishing his sword) Stand firm, warriors! We must protect the queen at all costs! 🛡️👊
A fierce battle ensued, as the Crystallites and their allies clashed with the shadowy creatures. Spells crackled through the air, and blades clashed against darkened claws as both sides fought for control of the caverns. 💥✨
In the midst of the chaos, Finn and his newfound friends stumbled upon the scene, their eyes widening in shock at the sight before them. 😲👀
Finn: (drawing his sword) We have to help them! ⚔️🆘
With determination burning in his heart, Finn leaped into the fray, his blade flashing in the dim light as he fought alongside the Crystallites. 💖💪
Together, they battled against Malachi’s minions, driving them back with each swing of their weapons. But despite their valiant efforts, the shadowy creatures seemed endless in number, their dark magic threatening to overwhelm them. 😰💔
Just when all hope seemed lost, Queen Seraphina unleashed a powerful spell, sending a wave of light cascading through the caverns. The shadows recoiled in fear, their forms dissipating into nothingness as the magic of the crystals surged around them. 🌈✨
Malachi: (snarling) This is not over, Queen Seraphina! I will return, and when I do, the Crystal Caverns will be mine! 😠🔥
With a final burst of dark energy, Malachi vanished into the depths of the caverns, his ominous laughter echoing through the tunnels. 😈🔊
Queen Seraphina: (regal and determined) We may have won this battle, but the threat still looms over our realm. We must remain vigilant, for the safety of the Crystal Caverns depends on it. 👑🛡️
As the dust settled and the echoes of battle faded away, Finn and the Crystallites gathered together, their spirits undaunted by the trials they had faced. 💖🤝
Finn: (smiling) I may have come here seeking adventure, but I never expected to find such brave allies. Thank you for showing me the true meaning of courage. 😊🌟
Crystallite 3: (nodding) And thank you, Finn, for standing by our side in our time of need. You have proven yourself a true friend to the Crystallites.
And so, with newfound friendships forged and the threat of darkness looming ever closer, Finn and the Crystallites vowed to protect the Crystal Caverns with all their strength, knowing that as long as they stood united, their home would remain safe from harm.
I do enjoy my job where ever I work because I create such environment around me but recently left my job after intership because I felt that my talent wasn’t appreciated due to which couldn’t share my knowledge to others, really it depends on an head or individual in a department, and always feel sad about it. I am actually not here to judge anyone…but such things has to be corrected because these are the things which actually lead to down fall of organisation and loss of talents of young generations, and currently now in a Phase to learn new things and opt back to pursuing education. I am a person who is keen in learning new things…and also sharing.
Hoping for a good job in future and share my talent to coming generation….😃🙂
Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.
My college days and my dissertation wherein I explored and learned a lot of things my self with less time span even though I came from different background of Bachelors ( Chemistry) and did Masters in ( Microbiology). Made new friends….but this after college life is really boring for me…😅
